Gah. This movie is so freaking adorable! Just finished watching. Again. Teehee! I've lost count of how many times I've seen it. ~~Still drooling over PD.~~ How cool is it that the movie was set in Seattle too? And they rode the ferryboat to Orcas Island! Just pondering on the similarities.

I love this movie! And the soundtrack is awesome too!

It was a good episode. It was funny. Bailey was hilarious! And I especially LOVED that Mer's back. She was awesome with Izzie and Alex. The opening scene was amazing too! And Teddy was great. Izzie was okay...I'm not hating her yet. BUT. Okay, I never thought I'd say this EVER. But that MerDer scene we got was too cheesy. I actually cringed as I was watching it. It started out okay, but then....I don't know. It just didn't feel right. Meh. Anyway, overall, I liked the episode. Now, on to the icons. =D

Organizing Tunes

Last Sunday, I reformatted my laptop. I still have a number of programs to reinstall but I'm pretty sure it's working just fine. Like, I didn't so something disastrous during the reformatting process. So, YESSSSS!

What I'm dreading now is the need to organize my music files. Because it's all over the place! I have double, even triple, copies of some songs. So I think I really need to fix that. Maybe I'll do it this weekend because I really don't feel like doing it now. XD

So here's what happened:

The first anomaly that occurred was that our phone line went dead -- for ONE WHOLE WEEK!!! And during that time, I called the phone company EVERYDAY to follow up and ask them to send a technician over if that is what's needed. On the eighth day, it was finally fixed.

And that's when this whole problem with my internet connection started. I could not connect to the internet through the router, which was working perfectly before the whole phone line went dead fiasco. Naturally, I called the service provider (which is the same as the phone company) customer service for help. The lady that received my call concluded that the network adapters in my laptop needed to be uninstalled and reinstalled. So I did that, and it worked. I was very happy until my brother came home and tried to connect through the router too, as he always does. It was not working for him. And that's when we noticed that whenever one of us is connected the other one can't.

So I thought the problem was in the router and that I have to reset it. And that's what I ATTEMPTED to do today. I started with pressing the reset button on our router. And then, I went on to the process of setting it up. I figured that to do that, I had to take it as if I was setting up a new router. I was in the process of doing that when I discovered that I COULD NOT CONNECT TO THE NET EVEN IF I AM ALREADY DIRECTLY CONNECTED TO THE MODEM.

Error 678: Remote computer did not repond blah blah blah -- I've seen it a thousand times today. I HATE THAT ERROR MESSAGE!

So, I called the service provider again. And the tech support guy, after having me do a whole bunch of things on my computer, said that they have to run a DIAGNOSTIC TESTING on our connection that will take 24 HOURS! And that I have to leave my modem on for 24 hours. Bleh.

And that's when my brain conjured up this idea that MAYBE, it's my laptop that has a problem. So what did I do? I reformatted my computer. It took forever but I was able to do it. And lo and behold, I still couldn't connect to the net. GRRRRrrrrrr!!! So yes, I still don't have an internet connection. And I still don't have an idea how to fix it. Bless my brother for lending me his wireless broadband.

I hope I get some answers from that diagnostic test tomorrow. This totally sucks! I hate having computer problems!

If anyone has an idea of what might be wrong. Please do tell.

After all that, I needed something to make me happy. And this brilliant performance did the trick.

Internet/Computer Crisis

Heya! I just want to let you know that I'm still here. haha! But I'm having major problems with my internet connection. For a while this afternoon, I thought I had it fixed. I even did the whole jumping around in circles thing. But sadly, the problem is back. And I'm not sure what it is so....I have no idea how I'm going to fix it!! AARRGHH!!!!

Well, anyway, I just wanted to say, HOW AWESOME WAS THAT ALL-DEREK EPISODE!!! It was really amazing. And we even got lots of MerDer!! I certainly didn't expect that we'd get that much of them. So it was a good surprise.

So...yeah....that's it. I hope I can get my net connection fixed before Thursday. Have a nice week everyone! =D

Pffft. I missed a few days with this all because my internet got busted. But it's fixed! YAY! And I bought the Wimbledon DVD and watched it over the weekend. It's a wonderful movie.





So, who's excited of an all-Derek-episode? Me, me, ME!!!! Still, I wish Mer could have been there in the hospital for all this.

First off, icons. 1 from 6.05 and 7 from 6.06. Very very few, I know.

I didn't expect that I'd be saying this, but I liked it. It was okay. I expected it to be a total let down. But it wasn't. The plot was nice. Although I kinda knew from the start that it was Kepner who was at fault. That scene where she was about to check the patient's throat kind of gave it away for me. I think it's just how they played it out. But still, it reeled me in. I wanted to know what happened, how it happened and so on.

I love that Derek finally pointed out what the problem was. THERE ARE TOO MANY DOCTORS. And on top of that, Richard didn't take any steps to orient the people from Mercy West. He didn't lay down the rules to be followed resulting to everyone just making up the rules as they go. Team Seattle Grace enforcing their own rules and Team Mercy West forcing their own rules into Seattle Grace. Which, really, spells chaos all around. Derek thinks that the Chief is responsible. And I 150% agree with him. Richard should really man up and fix his head straight and stop being angry all the time and do his freaking job.

What I LOVED the most about it though, was the pacing. It was fast. Snappy. There were a million things happening everywhere. It truly felt like I was in the ER. And I loved it. I also loved that they did all the points of view. Very nice. Oh, and the song they used at the end rocks too.
